Kim Williams is a nonprofit change-maker, consultant, and CEO who has spent the last 25 years helping nonprofit organizations to maximize seasons of change. Known as a "master strategist", Kim launched a start-up that gained national recognition for transitioning hundreds of families from welfare to work. She oversaw the expansion of the New York-based New Teacher Project into Texas, opening four offices in four cities in less than one year. As Director of Community Outreach for Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, she consolidated five underperforming community programs into one high functioning team that served over 14,000 girls across 20 counties. In her current role as CEO of Interfaith Family Services, Kim has raised over $50 million to provide transitional housing, career training, affordable childcare, and other services that empower homeless families in Dallas to overcome poverty. She also launched and completed an $11.5 million capital campaign to build one of Dallas most holistic Family Empowerment Centers which offers housing, adult-education, childcare, and children’s services in three separate facilities on one beautiful campus.

Kim's visionary and transformational leadership has not gone unnoticed. She was a finalist for DCEO’s 2019 Nonprofit CEO of the Year Award and a finalist for the Center for Nonprofit Management’s 2020 CEO of the Year Award. In 2022, her organization, Interfaith Family Services, was named a finalist for DCEO’s Nonprofit of the Year for its innovative COVID-19 response and impressive client outcomes.
In 2002, she created Kim Williams Consulting, a change management firm specializing in leadership transitions, crisis management, and strategic planning for nonprofit organizations. Kim is very passionate about equipping the next generation of change-agents to transform the world as a consultant, author, and podcaster. Doing so is the inspiration for her TEDx Talk on Navigating the Transition Tunnel and her book, Diary of An Insecure CEO, How I Went from Feeling Rejected to Raising Millions. As the host of Life & Leadership with Kim Williams, Kim shares inspiring stories and practical tips to help nonprofit leaders overcome their insecurities while increasing their impact.

The only thing that she enjoys more than her work is delicious food and good times with her sports-loving family. Kim and her husband of 25 years, Rawleigh, have three wonderful children, and reside just outside of Dallas, Texas.
